The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) has access to $18.2 million for loans, and wants to help small businesses in Arizona qualify. T.J. Jennings, Vice President, Capital Strategies for the ACA, will explain the requirements and the process of the Arizona Innovation Acceleration fund. This 5-year program targets industries including renewable energy and sustainability, bio and life sciences, electronics, information technology, aerospace and defense, and advanced manufacturing. The goal is to provide financing to small businesses and manufacturers, in collaboration with private finance partners, to foster business expansion and job creation in Arizona. Jennings and manages the Arizona Innovation Accelerator Fund, and works with and advises ACA management on the various grant and financial incentive programs offered by the ACA. He has worked on corporate turnarounds and restructurings, financial modeling, forecasting and general financial problem solving for distressed companies and their shareholders. His career also includes three years as investment banking analyst with J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. in their Syndicated & Leveraged Finance Department in New York, NY. During his time with JPM, he was the lead analyst on multiple $100+ million dollar leverage buyouts and high yield debt capital raisings and issuances for a variety of public and private companies in both the U.S. and abroad. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required due to limited seating.
