HP Life is a unique program that uses real life examples of business problems, and shows how using technology can help solve those problems, and in turn help small businesses grow and succeed. This program features “hands on” use of computer station, provided through a donation by Hewlett-Packard Corporation, and focuses on the business problem rather than the software. These classes are designed to be taken as a series, however all courses are valuable individually as well. Students who attend 5 or more HP Life classes receive certificates as HP Life Graduates. This class is an introduction to the leading small business accounting software. We will demonstrate the program: features and benefits, and you will test drive the program briefly to see if it is the best fit for your small business. The program will provide a supplemental manual that will enhance the use of QuickBooks in key areas, such as chart of accounts, control systems, and basic accounting information. You will not learn QuickBooks in two hours, but can gain an appreciation of the power of this program and how computer accounting can take your business to the next level.
