Are you an entrepreneur in the early stage of exploring and planning a new business venture? Do you know if it is a viable idea, one that will be a good investment of your time, resources and money? In our Put Your Business Idea in Motion program, you will learn about the critical questions you need to ask, and be given tools and resources you will need to use, to make a “Go” or “No Go” business start decision. During this interactive session, you will: • Learn how to develop a winning value proposition • Know the resources available to help you start your market research • Be introduced to the concepts and tools you need to identify startup costs and working capital needs. Participants are given short activities to apply what they learn to their business idea. Audience: This program is intended for new entrepreneurs and first time business owners who have not yet opened their doors for business. Note: The session does not include information related to legal structure, tax or licensing information.

Speaker(s): Mike Bull, SBDC Business Analyst. Mike has been a small business owner for over 20 years. His experience is in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Most recently, he spent five years as a small business consultant. Mike has spent time in all areas of business including production, administration, sales, marketing, supply chain management, and customer service. Making businesses strong and healthy is his main goal. Mike completed his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Marketing at Northern Arizona University and his MBA from Boise State University.
