Employment laws, common management mistakes, potential legal land mines, and effective human resources practices, will be highlighted for each stage of the employment process: • Recruiting People • Hiring People • Paying People • Managing People • Dismissing People Excellent reference tools will also be provided.

Speaker(s): Presented by: Laura Hamblin is a Prescott employment attorney and human resources consultant who primarily works with small employers throughout north central Arizona to help them comply with the sea of employment laws. She prepares workplace policies and employee handbooks; conducts management and employee training; provides guidance on difficult employee issues; as well as other employment-related services. Her goal is to establish proactive measures for her clients to prevent litigation.
