James Pipper, Sr. Economic Development Officer, U.S. Small Business Administration and Lisa Novack, Senior Stakeholder Liaison with Communication and Liaison Outreach Division, IRS, will deliver a presentation on currently available small business tax credits available for employers, including Employee Retention Credits and Credit for Paid Sick and Family Leave.

Speaker(s): James Pipper is a seasoned employee with the SBA with many years of experience assisting entrepreneurs to either start and/or expand their business opportunities using SBA’s Programs and Services. Jim is particularly proud of the assistance he’s been able to provide to Veterans, Active Duty Military, National Guard & Reserve Members, Mil Spouses and family members in his capacity as a National Award Winning Veteran Business Development Officer Lisa Novack is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Southwest Area of Stakeholder Liaison – Field Operations, a function of the Small Business and Self-Employed Division of the Internal Revenue Service. As a Liaison, she works with practitioner and small business organizations to provide members with information about the policies, practices and procedures the IRS uses to ensure compliance with the tax laws. Kristin White is a member of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP). TAP is a Federal Advisory Committee whose mission is to listen to taxpayers, identify taxpayers’
