Learn how your business can claim the Employee Retention Credit. Learn about the payroll credit and leave the webinar prepared to claim this payroll tax credit for wages your business paid to employees before the deadline in March 2023. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (also known as the CARES Act) was signed into law on March 27, 2020. It included two programs to assist businesses with keeping workers employed: the Payroll Protection Program (PPP) administered by the Small Business Administration and Employee Retention Credit (ERC) administered by the Internal Revenue Service. ERC payroll tax credits, however, are credits (or refunds) for a percentage of payroll in each quarter that you qualify. If you were in business during 2020 and 2021 and retained employees, you may qualify. With special guest presenter Natalie Archuleta, Paychex. Natalie Archuleta was raised in Montana in a small town. She attended Central Oregon Community College in Bend OR and University of Nevada – Las Vegas, graduated with a Bachelor in Hospitality Administration and Event Management. After graduating from UNLV, Natalie worked for a 5 Diamond Resort in Las Vegas for 18 years as a Sr. Catering and Conference Manager. Natalie has worked hard over the last 15 years develop client relationships. Throughout the last year with Paychex, she has understood the importance of making sure business owners are educated on programs available to them. When Natalie is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young boys, cooking and exploring the outdoors.
