In this webinar, you'll learn about the lending programs and services of Community Investment Corporation (CIC), a local nonprofit dedicated to the financial empowerment of Pima County and the surrounding area since 1996. CIC gives the members of the community, who are shut out of and left behind in our economy, access to the knowledge and financing they need to pursue new opportunities. CIC offers a variety of lending programs for small businesses, including the BIPOC Community Managed Loan Fund.
Speaker(s): Caroline Nelson, Chief Operating Officer: Caroline, a native Tucsonan, has spent the last 18 years in the financial services industry. She started with CIC in September 2016 and has spent time in each of its three program areas. Caroline is currently the Chief Operating Officer and oversees the small business lending program. Prior to CIC, the majority of her career was spent working for Northern Trust Bank where she held various positions in the banking and wealth strategies departments.
